Steve Hagen – June 14th & 15th

The Bluestone Zen Practice Community is honored to welcome Steve Hagen of Dharma Field Zen Meditation Center on June 14th & 15th.


Steve Hagen is the founding teacher of Dhama Field Zen Meditation Center (1997). He has been a student of Buddhist thought and practice since 1967. In 1975, Steve became a student of Dainin Katagiri Roshi, founder of the Minnesota Zen Meditation Center, and was ordained by him in 1979. Steve has studied with teachers in the U.S., Asia, and Europe, and received Dharma Transmission from Katagiri Roshi in 1989.

Public Dharma Talk: June 14th 7:00PM

On Friday, June 14th, Steve will give a Dharma talk at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Duluth. The talk begins at 7:00PM, and is open to the public. There is no cost for this talk, but there is a $10 suggested donation.

Saturday Zazen and Dharma Talk: June 15th

On Saturday, June 15th, Steve will join us for our regular Saturday zazen, then give a Dharma talk at 8:30AM. Tea and discussion will follow the talk.
